DAILY FLOSSING IS SO IMPORTANT
Flossing, or interdental cleaning as it’s officially known, is an essential part of caring for your teeth and gums.
Flossing should be an integral part of your dental health routine alongside brushing. You should be brushing once a day either at night or in the morning. By removing the plaque from between your teeth, you’re helping to prevent gum disease, tooth decay and bad breath also known as halitosis.
Your dentist may also recommend using other items, such as piksters to compliment your flossing routine. Piksters are interdental brushes , a small cylindrical brush that is designed to slide into the spaces between your teeth. The bristles remove plaque in the small cervices in between the teeth and hard to reach areas. Floss and piksters are available to purchase at the supermarket, chemists and most dental practices
