KEEPING KIDS LUNCH BOXES HEALTHY
Life is hectic and so packing and preparing healthy lunch boxes for the kids can sometimes seem impossible.
Packing a water bottle in your childs lunchbox is essential. It not only
keeps their body hydrated but also their teeth. The fluoride helps
strengthen their teeth, wash away excess acids after eating and fights
dry mouth. Avoid buying cordials, soft drinks and fruit juices.
CELERY, CARROT AND APPLE;
These are perfect snacks for the lunch box. They act like a toothbrush
to their teeth. The high vitamin A and C is also beneficial.
YOGHURT, MILK AND CHEESE
The protein and calcium in diary will strengthen their enamel and
neutralises acids in the mouth. It’s as easy as adding a slice of cheese
to their sandwich or a small yohurt.
Cashews, cherry tomatoes and leafy vegetables are some other good foods for their tooth friendly lunch boxes.
